• →Photos (app only) — when you submit an "I See Aurora" sighting

AuroraVision uses the following third-party services:

• →Google Analytics — website usage analytics
• →Firebase — app backend and database
• →NOAA Space Weather — space weather data (no personal data sent)
• →Viator — tour booking (subject to Viator's privacy policy)

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We recommend reviewing their individual policies.

We retain anonymous usage data for 2 years to allow us to identify trends and improve our services. Location data is not stored beyond the current session — it is used only to calculate your local aurora conditions and is never written to a database.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You can request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@auroravision.is.
