By accessing or using AuroraVision — including the website auroravision.is and the AuroraVision mobile application — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

AuroraVision provides aurora forecasting information for Iceland based on publicly available space weather data from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and other open data sources. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind.

Aurora forecasting is inherently uncertain. Space weather, atmospheric conditions, and cloud cover are dynamic systems that cannot be predicted with complete accuracy. We do not guarantee aurora visibility or the accuracy of any forecast, score, or recommendation provided by AuroraVision.

Always check current conditions independently before making travel decisions. Weather and road conditions in Iceland can change rapidly.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AuroraVision and its operators shall not be liable for any travel costs, accommodation expenses, tour bookings, disappointment, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from inaccurate aurora forecasts, service downtime, or any reliance placed on information provided by AuroraVision.

All content on AuroraVision — including text, graphics, logos, design, code, and aurora photography — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content without our prior written permission.

When you submit an “I See Aurora” photo through the AuroraVision app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and use that photo on the AuroraVision platform, including the website and app. You retain ownership of your photos.

By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own it or have the right to grant this license, and that the photo does not infringe on any third-party rights.

AuroraVision contains links to third-party services including Viator (tour bookings), Rental Cars (car hire), and others. These links are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party websites or services. Visiting a third-party link is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of AuroraVision after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
